Amorphous Hydrogel Dressing is made from polymer gel with high water content, it can keep the dry and scabby wounds moist, fully hydrate necrotic tissues, wrap, separate and remove necrotic tissues, bacteria and the like and promote autolytic debridement. It absorbs excess exudates from the wound to keep the wound in a proper moist state.

Applications

It is indicated for use on wound surface, cavity and sinus tract wounds with dry scab or rotten tissue, it is also used for all kinds of chronic wounds, I-II degree burn wounds, skin donor site wounds etc, it is specially suitable for superficial skin injuries, such as abrasions, scratches and scalds.

Guidelines
  1. Wash the wound with normal saline and gently dry the surrounding skin around the wounds.
  2. Apply hydrogel onto the wound.
  3. Secure dressing with suitable bandage or tape if necessary.

Cautions

Contraindicated for use on third-degree burns and wounds with heavy exudates
  1. Initial cooling and ongoing soothing wound pain relief
  2. Responds to wound moisture requirements
