Applications

It is used for patients who are comatose, on oxygen, dealing with restricted fluid intake, or suffering from dry mouth due to medication, it is just for temporary relief of minor soreness and/or irritation of the mouth and dry mouth relief.

Warnings
  1. Despite their historical popularity, many modern dental and nursing protocols advise against routine, long-term use of lemon glycerin swabs. The citric acid in the lemon flavoring can be highly drying and can cause or worsen dental erosion and enamel breakdown over time. They should be considered for short-term, temporary comfort only.

Directions

Administration:

  1. Swab mouth as needed.
  2. Discard after single use.
