Applications

It is mainly used for disinfection before injections and infusions, as well as for cleaning and disinfecting the skin before surgeries, and for inhibiting the growth of bacteria in minor wounds, etc.

Warnings
  1. Do Not Ingest: Keep the solution out of your eyes, ears, and mouth.
  2. Allergies: Do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine. Seek emergency help if you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction (e.g., difficulty breathing, facial swelling).
  3. Flammable: Contains alcohol; keep away from flames, sparks, and avoid use during electrocautery procedures.
  4. Sensitive Skin: Use with extreme caution on infants under 2 months of age, as it can cause chemical burns or severe irritation.

Directions
  1. Preparation: Tear the pouch to reveal the handle without touching the sterile foam tip.
  2. Application: Press the swabstick flat against the skin and wipe using firm, back-and-forth friction strokes.
  3. Drying: Allow the treated area to air-dry completely (usually 30 seconds for dry skin, up to 2 minutes for moist folds) before proceeding. Do not blot or wipe away.
  4. Disposal: Discard the applicator immediately after a single use.
