Paraffin Gauze Dressing is a knitted viscose mesh impregnated with imported petroleum jelly, designed to provide a moist environment for wound, facilitate healing process. Can be used as primary dressing on the wound, when cover a secondary dressing such as gauze swabs to absorb exudates, the vaseline gauze prevents the secondary dressing adhere to wound site. This product is mainly used in medical units for dressing change, wound drainage and lumen colostomy.

Applications	It is used for scalds, leg ulcers and on skin graft sites, plastic & cosmetic surgery, reduces risk of colonization.
Instructions	1. Skin Preparation (clean the wound with standard methods) a) Clean the wound with saline b) Dry skin around the wound 2. Dressing Application (1). Select the appropriate size, tear the package (or tear the bottom of the reel). remove the protective paper with gloves and tweezers. cover the wound surface directly with single-dressing. (2). If needed, use the second dressing ,fix the dressing with bandage. 3. Dressing Changes (1). Change the second dressing for absorption. Not need to change the paraffin gauze. The frequency of change is depend on the wound ,ranging from once a day to twice a week. (2). Remove the dressing with saline if the dressing is stuck to the wound.
Storage	Stored in a relative humidity less than 80%, the temperature isn’t more than 30 ℃, no other toxic substances, ventilated room.
Cautions	Single use only. Do not re-sterilize. The sterility is guaranteed as long as the packing open or damaged
